  • Fascinating info on the Indians of North America. So much to see in a building that is not that big. A real find well worth the time.  more »
  • If you are interested in American Indian history this is a great museum. Its small but very well done. Don't skip the video presentations.  more »
  • Best Indian Museum we have seen in a long time. Tucked away in a small town but so worth the trip to check it out. They are very friendly people that work there and have so many great Indian exhibits....  more »
  • The museum is very small but it very well laid out and I was surprised at how many artifacts they have. Our guide did a wonderful job of explaining Native American life throughout North America. I want to go back when the weather is warmer so I can walk the Medicine Woods trail.
  • Amazing history about every tribe for adults to learn and young ones to learn. It is my favorite museum. Also if you are part native American Indian you get in free.
  • Fantastic collection based on Bud Thompson's finds as a young man! Guided tours are available everyday from noon til 3 pm. Or you can schedule a group tour for your school, organization, or even for your out-of-town guests. Wonderful inter-tribal education. Start in the Northeast Woodlands and "travel" across the country to end in the Northwest. Don't miss their annual Powwow the second weekend in July! The Museum Store is stocked with books, toys, jewelry, herbals, local and Native crafts, and much more. A true gem "in the middle of nowhere"!!
  • This was really cool to visit. They have a nice area outside for a picnic too.
  • Probably not a fair rating as the place was closed with no reason listed or info provided on the internet. The half acre nature trail was open with plenty of gray squirrels.
