  • Stayed in one of the teepees right outside the main pool. Was such a kid friendly fun experience. Kids can run and play in a huge grass area all day/night. The teepee sleeps 10 but we easily fit 12. T...  more »
  • Great place to hold events such as birthday parties, parties, or other social gatherings. Alot of people to meet.

  • I have stayed at Kah-Nee-Ta half a dozen times. I think the rooms are spacious and warm. Most have balconies with serene views of the high desert landscape. I love the decor , including historic photos. The enormous fireplace in the lobby is a marvelous place to relax with friends. There are hiking trails that provide the opportunity to inhale the scent of juniper and hear birdsong. This is a wonderful place to get away and relax, especially during the late fall when the rates change.
  • Second time staying at the resort, and for the most part it was fantastic. We really enjoyed the accommodations, the updated room, and the heated pool! The only downside was that the hot tub didn't seem to be working, as it was colder than the pool by far. I purchased a breakfast voucher with the room, and can honestly say it was the best hotel breakfast buffet I have ever eaten. Other guests were raving as well. Overall a great experience!
  • The rooms definitely need to be updated. The TV is super small and no remote for the DVD player. Carpet was stained in multiple places and Housekeeping did not clean up back patio there were pistachio shells all over the ground. But the front desk service was very good and the grill had amazing service and good food and drinks. We came for an event and the catering was very good too. We will definitely be back hopefully this year.
  • If I could put zero stars I would. Kahneeta doesn't deserve even one star. Our stay was terrible! It started out by them checking us into a room that was already occupied. It was so embarrassing walking into a strangers room, not to mention a little creepy I'm sure for them since it was super late. Then they changed our room to the other side which was really far away. The room was so outdated, the television didn't work and it was super old and the room was like a broiler room, the only way to cool it down was to leave the balcony door open. After falling asleep really late maintenance came to our door trying to get in at 7:30 am. It was like they didn't know anyone was in the room. Which they probably didn't know it was occupied due to the room confusion the night before. My husband and I decided to check out at 8:30, we were so upset at the different occurrences that have happened. When we went to check out we told the "supervisor" how disappointed we were at the situation. He proceeded to say I'm sorry but I have you checked out now. After paying the kind of money we paid for the room it's a little disappointing that they were not willing to compensate or something for all the bs. My husband and I have stayed there in the past but not anymore! Kahneeta has gone down hill! A Motel 6 has got to be better than this, both their customer service and their rooms! Kahneeta IS NOT A RESORT.
  • We had a great time. It was a beautiful change of scenery. The room a/c barely works and they could have used a 3rd lifeguard at the top of the slides to keep things safe.
