  • Not a huge exhibit, but worth seeing if you're in the area. Interesting history. Airport next door had additional historical photos.

  • My wife and I visited this monument on our way home from Sumter. I'd visited some years ago but this was my wife's first visit. The memorial is sparse, but well maintained with fresh US flags lining the area. The landmark success of this group of genuine American heroes should have laid Jim Crow in an early grave, bud tragically, far too many politicians base their power on hate and fear. I said a quiet prayer of thanks for their courage and patriotism.
  • This was a great unexpected experience. I was proud to have been on the grounds dedicated to such great men!
  • I was honored to stop here, at the beginning of aviation for African Americans. But, I feel like it was a little underwhelming. It could use a good pressure washing as well.
  • A well-documented history of the activity at this one time Army Air Corps Base. The landmarks are well maintained and tells an interesting story that I never knew before.
  • A quiet and peaceful Memorial dedicated to the Tuskegee Airmen. Would have given 5-Stars had the grounds and equipment (seating, tables, lawn) been better maintained. Those things need repair or to be replaced. Also, there is no public restroom.
