  • Although it was very cool how up close you can get to these animals and some of the hands-on experiences, the whole place seemed very sad to me. Most of the enclosures were too small for the animals, ...  read more »

  • We had such an amazing time at this zoo! I was a little thrown by some of the cages at first until I realized how well cared for all of the animals are. The cat feeding was awesome, the interaction with the hyenas was amazing. By far the best was feeding the hippo Wallace! Our whole family enjoyed holding the baby monkeys & kangaroo. We will make the trip back!
  • Love love love this zoo! We made a special trip just to this zoo (2 hour drive) and It was so worth it! This zoo is very organized and always on time with their shows. I got to hold so many different animals. Also got to watch them feed the tigers and it was amazing. We also got to talk to the owners and they are such loving people. If you haven't been to this zoo you need to check it out!
  • A great experience at the zoo, we've been there twice. They really care for their animals- don't take much stock in the negative reviews. You want your kid to be able to hold a kangaroo? To pet a porcupine? To feed a hippo? See tigers catch raw meat in midair less than 30 feet away from you? This is the place. They do not nickle and dime you here, so if you can, give a donation on top of your entrance fee. The people who run this zoo are salt of the Earth types. TIPS: pack a lunch there are plenty of picnic tables on site to eat & bring a hat if it's a hot day- not much shade & nothing is paved so don't wear flip-flops or good shoes - expect to get your shoes a bit dirty & when they are feeding the tigers, hold your camera or phone out and Bud (one of the owners) will take it and get some amazing shots for you. It's 90 minutes north of Green Bay, 45 minutes from Crivitz.
  • This place is by far my favorite zoo ever! Home of the big cats! They have 12 tigers, 5 lions, 5 bears, 7 hyenas, a 5,500 lbs hippo and much more! All the animals are big so that means they are well fed and taken care of. The cages are nice and big with room to run and move around. The staff are all super cool and very nice! I had a great experience and will definitely be going back soon! A true must see if you like animals!
  • Sweet zoo for families with kids. Be sure to dinate lots of $. They'll get to hold animals like porcupines and coati and monkies. 1:00 is big cat and hyena feeding time. Hold phone through fence and they'll take a closeup of the critters for you. Bud and Carry are sweet and be sure to talk to them and they will share cool information with you. Bring water! Don't get too crazy if the monkey poops on you! Be ready to run when the fences collapse, too.
