  • What a fun and educational way to explore Maui! We loved our tour of the plantation! The grounds are beautiful! There are so many different kinds of this growing here, it was so fun learning about how these types of fruit grow and are harvested! Did you know that banana trees only produce one crop of fruit in their lifetime? Or that it takes 2 years for a pineapple to be ready to harvest? It was so fun seeing all the plants in different stages of growing. I would definitely recommend taking the tram tour (though I would try to go when the weather is nicer, the time we wanted to go almost got cancelled due to inclement weather!). You also get a delicious fruit cup at the end of the tour which was a perfect way to enjoy what the plantation has to offer. You also get discounts to other food places on the plantation with your ticket, so purchase your ticket before walking the grounds in order to save a little money.
  • Absolutely LOVE the plants and animals. Love the ducks. Its a great place for photography. Cool shops too! I love eating here I had a great dinner before. Delicious dinner and Absolutely fantastic setting! Probably a bit expensive but that's how everything in Hawaii is! Great experience. :)
  • Take a tour of the pineapple plantation then enjoy a sample pineapple boat or have an ice cream. We found the best prices for souvenirs in their shop. I'm sad that we didn't find this place earlier. They were having a wedding on the grounds. It is beautiful.
  • The Maui Tropical Plantation is beautiful and very interesting to tour. I would highly suggest taking the plantation driving tour. They drive you around the plantation and tell you about everything they have growing on the plantation. They stop and give you a demonstration on how to open up a coconut, which was really interesting. The gift shop was huge and had a lot of really cool things to purchase.
  • Nice place to visit. There's beautiful plants, nice views of West Maui Mountains, a nice pond with a variety of ducks, a souvenir store. You can even take a trolley to view the grounds and various plants. Also, a gazebo in a nice out of the way setting great for weddings. Great place to relax and feed the ducks.
