  • Yes this is a tourist trap. That being said we have little girls 6 and 4 and it made for a fun 2-3 hours. Feeding the ducks, the tram ride, and the free samples at the end were great. The grounds are lovely and the coffee on-site was amazing. We did this and then hit the ocean center after lunch for a fun day out.
  • Beautiful place and really cool experience! I was there for Maui's Chef Table and it was fantastic. These young chefs have a passion for food. They offer an unconventional way to serving your meal. You see how it is prepared and served and can ask the chef questions about it. The ingredients they use are locally grown and are very fresh. The entreés are small, but there are many of them. You will certainly be full by the time you leave, so bring your appetite! The meal includes dessert, but does not include alcoholic beverages or wine. There are 7-8 tables in the place and each table fits 6 people.
  • It's an inexpensive and fun way to get history as botanical info. The people working are the nicest anywhere. Great little store from farm there and good ice cream stop.
  • Taking the tram ride gives a close up view of the crops grown in the area - very interesting and informative. Beautiful plantings and gardens! Really enjoyed this spot!
  • A little drive out to here but it's very similar to DOLE plantation in Oahu. However, the train ride here is longer and it's got a fish pond, zip lines, and a good restaurant. They demonstrate how to break open a coconut. No pineapple maze here though.
