  • I called and made a reservation for Kyacks before I drove and hour. They told me they were going to hold the kayaks. When I went there they told me it was first come first serve and I had to wait for ...  more »

  • Unforgettable. It is the closest place to the Secret Falls so you don't have to paddle a canoe for a mile like you do from other places. The Fern Grotto was amazing although you can no longer go inside the grotto. The Village itself was educational although a bit touristy and fabricated. When we went to the Secret Falls, it had been raining on and off so the trail was a bit muddy. We tried to stay out of the mud on the way in and it took us 45 minutes. On the way back, we were experts and didn't care about the mud so it took less than 30 to come back. The Falls were a spectacular sight to see. The Fern Grotto was even more impressive. Totally worth every penny we spent there.
  • Great service and equipment. The best way to get to Secret Falls and paddle around on the river for a bit.
  • Nice quiet place. Good to spend some time. Peacocks are an attraction here
  • Amazing experience, highly recommended by my wife and me. Like other reviewers mentioned, you launch close by (which is amazing when you're canoeing back in rain & current). The secret falls are a gift to everyone and even if you're not really adventurous, you feel safe enough to make the journey (we saw a mother carrying her baby with and 5 year olds on the trail- you can do it). And the service is great- say hi to Ben and Dan :)
  • A perfect place to launch from everything is close by! Don't think you need to be a super athlete just relax and let your bride row while you chill in the back of the canoe! (It is in the calm part of the river) You can be adventurous and head to the ocean but not in it. The secret falls were amazing and the hike wasn't bad. Getting to the falls is a 40+ minute hike. Pick up a walking stick where you ground your canoe. You will need water and good water shoes because you walk through four water features to get to the falls. Children could have a hard time especially crossing the first river and you might want to be in ok shape...The staff really is laid back. It really has the Kauai feel!
