Makaha Valley Country Club, Waianae

(3.5/5 based on 40+ reviews on the web)
Nestled in captivating lowlands, Makaha Valley Country Club provides the other half of the one-two punch in this beautiful tourist region.

Adjacent to Makaha Golf Club (WEST), Makaha Valley was designed by William F. Bell, who designed the Torrey Pines South Course which hosted the 2008 U.S. Open. Accented by gorgeous vistas, Makaha Valley weaves along rolling terrain framed by dense trees, ferns and tropical plants. Presenting golfers with a variety of doglegs and elevation changes, the course builds to an entertaining climax on one of Hawaii's most demanding closing holes.

  • in a great location! Not too long, but the Greens have it in themselves. Hint: they all break towards the ocean. Good but hardly anything is... Very friendly staff. Good price: performance ratio. Early in the recommended start time (before 7), otherwise quite slow to play.

  • This is a course where you can enjoy beautiful views of the Valley. Facilities will somewhat entered articles clean and no problems. Green has a sloping, Pat was difficult for beginners. Waikiki from around 1 hour by car. On the way home Konishiki and musashimaru's alma mater.

  • No longer in operation. Dry greens and noone there. Should be taken off Trip Advisor. It is not open.
  • My favorite golf course on the island. Not the best maintained(cart paths are horrible) but there is something about the quiet, peaceful tranquility that I really enjoy. I love the layout.Reminds a bit of many of the courses on Maui in south Kehei where you get lots of ocean views. There is always something blooming on the course and the rough mountain valley on both sides of the course are gorgeous You hit a drive towards the mountain and ball seems suspended in motion. I normally play 36 holes when I go Check out #17 and take lots of photos. The staff are helpful and friendly. I hope it continues the same when the west course is remodeled..
  • Average course but I gave it an extra star as I got an Eagle!
  • Nice course greens are tricky
  • Cheap and easy, you can press the Green a little bit but the golf course beat slightly faster if you manage. Speaking of half-price, and local residents 55 and older seniors are $ 5 cheaper.
