  • Most people who come to Oahu never get this far west of Honolulu but it's worth the drive and the traffic. There is a larger homeless population out this way but they don't bother you if you don't bot...  more »
  • Cool! We had fun watching the surfing. Pulled up at the side of the road and just watched from the car for a while. We could've gone down to the beach but didn't...  more »
  • You can enjoy 360-degree views, amenities such as shower, no parking, but will park the car in a poor visibility from the sea. Glade in along the road, people in and out of and often often so easy to break-ins and so friendly.

  • Popular with locals. Terrific snorkeling within 100 feet of shore! Many colorful fish. I shadowed a feeding Green turtle for almost an hour in 6 to 8 feet of water mostly within 100 feet of shore. Great shaved ice and food available from street vendors, at least on the weekend. Rent snorkeling equipment, boogie boards, surf boards nearby at SOP. If you want to get away from the craziness of Honolulu, this is a great choice.
  • Beautiful and child friendly plave to swim and enjoy wawes from the ocean. No rocks, just soft sand under your feets. This place is not overcrowd like other beaches so if you want piece of own peace, this is the place for you. You will need a car if you want the get on the beach brcause it's quite far from Honolulu.
  • This is my favorite beach. Not a lot of people, big waves, away from the tourists path. Beautiful.
  • Very nice beach. Not as rocky as other beaches.. Also shower and bathrooms and Life Guards on duty
  • Always beautiful, a little scary with the parking right next to the road but there's a restroom and some food trucks or swim suit pop up tents sometimes too!
