  • A lovely garden and I see something new blooming each time I go. Nicely paved walking paths on the upper level and an unpaved hiking trail at the bottom. Shaded benches to relax on and it's never very...  more »

  • Such a beautiful little place! A perfect Oasis that is designed well, has great information, and very kind staff! I stopped here after an exhaustive day of hiking and I didn't want to leave. So quiet and peaceful.
  • The coolest botanical garden I have ever visited. Very short walks, extremely well maintained and unimaginably beautiful. You can spend hours there and lose track of time. Everything is clearly marked and description plaques fill you in on the variety of flora available for viewing.
  • A place to get in touch with nature quite clean room to roam. Take pictures or enjoy the peace helpful employees
  • I used to live near this. Brings back all kinds of memories. Can't beat free and beautiful scenery. Very calming to walk around
  • When I travel I always make it a point to go to a local botanical garden. I came here for the plants. This was underwhelming. I was sad I wasted part of the day wandering in here. A lot of the trails are currently closed. The map was hard to follow. There is very little to no organization and what is there is mostly on the trail map of 18 different trees and random plants mixed together underneath. (loved the rainbow Eucalyptus, the epiphytes and the gingers but everything is just jumbled together. It's also pretty small. If you don't know what you are doing some of the garden's offerings are easy to miss) I enjoyed some of the specimens, and the hike was lovely (it's very steep), but I was not impressed with it from a educational perspective. We're headed off to another garden. I didn't want this to be our only example. If you are used to mainland botanical gardens: this is more of a natural raw jungle and park than groomed garden. It's very pretty and interesting but not what I was looking for. I wouldn't come back unless it was for the hike, the view or a picnic.
