  • Waterfall trail not worth the burning sun mile and a half. "Waterfall" was all dried up. Just a small puddle of mud.Smelly. TONS of flies. Petroglyphs not that impressive. Over all kind of a sad park. It is quiet, but for $6 entrance fee, I expected a better experience. Maybe other trails better or go at a different time of year.
  • On the western edge of the Phoenix metro area,White Tank Mt. Regional Park provides a nice quiet respite to the busy-ness of the metro area, and it's very easy to get to. Lots of beautiful hiking trails but my favorite is the one going to the waterfall in the box canyon. Sometimes the water flows and sometimes it doesn't; I recommend coming in late winter for the best possibility though. I look forward to my annual "hike the White Tanks" each winter.
  • This place is beautiful if you just want an easy hike the view of the water fall is amazing when it's going
  • The best view and hike for this mountain is the Waterfall trail. It takes you to a natural stone staircase and white/silver stone walls that contain the water. The wall is very picturesque, but if you are expecting a water fall, you'll be disappointed. The price to enter this small park is $6 per car, could be less for a small park. Also, the people at the booth could be a little more customer oriented and knowledgeable about the trails there. Asked them a few questions, didn't seem enthused in answering questions.
  • Local gem of a park. Many miles of amazing hiking and cycling and views. The waterfall trail is a great easy first time hike with a rewarding view of a cool trickling desert waterfall. Ford's Canyon is a long 10 mile loop with difficult sections but fantastic views. Goat Camp Trail is also long but beautiful, and will bring you to the base of the antenna hill (off limits the actual hill). The park features long and arduous trails, and short and flat. Something for everyone. Bring more water than you think you'll need.
