  • Plenty for the kids, but big and interesting enough for the professor in anyone. Lots of hands-on. Always has a special traveling exhibit also.  more »
  • This is a small, but nice museum with lots to interest children of many ages. There are usually some special exhibits too. Many permanent exhibits focus on Texas.  more »

  • Best for younger kids...1 to 6 years old. Good interactive area for that age. Memberships start to be a good deal if you have 2+ kids.
  • Mayborn Museum is a great place to take kids! My 3 and 4 year old children were thoroughly amused for hours. They loved Play Waco, Water and Bubbles, and Light and Sound. I loved the hands on exhibits which encouraged my children to really get involved and learn while having fun.
  • We went to Magnolia Market but it was way to busy for our family, so we found this museum on trip advisor and LOVED it. My kids 4-9 were entertained for HOURS. My oldest has autism and sometime museums are hard for him and he doesn't last long. We expected to be there for 1 hour or so, but this museum had so much hands on engaging exhibits he lasted over 3 hours.
  • Great place for the kids! We will be coming back. Perfect for 2-4!!
  • Pretty cool site. Lots of historical buildings on site offering a glimpse into frontier life. A very enjoyable place for children to visit.
