  • We have the Grandparents pass which is a great deal. The zoo is very clean and the exhibits are great. We have been here on several occasions and enjoy the facility each time. There's a snack bar half...  read more »
  • I am used to going to a big zoo but for a small zoo I am impressed with this one. My husband and I got there right when it opened and not all of the animals were out and about yet. This zoo is quaint ...  read more »
  • Surprised at the size of the zoo. Thought it might only be a local area zoo with a few local animals. This zoo has local critters but also bigger animals including lions, tigers, giraffes, etc. The pa...  read more »
  • Very nice zoo! Easy to walk around with children, and a lot of activities and play areas for children. The intern working the "Feed the Giraffe" booth could use an attitude adjustment and a few more skills in working with children. Overall it was a great experience and worth the entry fee.
  • This is one of the best kept secrets in Waco. My mom and I were in town to go to Magnolia Market and decided to go to the zoo afterward. It is surprisingly big and has a gigantic variety of animals. The staff we encountered were welcoming and friendly. There was a very cute, shaded play area that included a splash pad. The only thing I would do differently is go between October and March instead of July, considering it is almost entirely outdoors. I highly recommend it and would definitely go again.
  • What a little gem! So much fun for the young kids and I loved the foliage that helped shade the paths. We enjoyed the animals and the close proximity to the giraffes. It's also super stroller friendly. Worth the drive!
  • Exhibits were surprisingly clean and well maintained. The zoo was not overcrowded and total costs were about half of the San Antonio or Dallas zoo's. Truly a hidden gem.
  • Not as good as the Fort Worth Zoo however they seem to be renovating some attractions this year so there are a few attractions that aren't so... Attractive if you will. However the rest of the park is still fully functional and visitor friendly the water park and all of that is still going strong.
