It's a very small and limited zoo. The benefits is that they let you bring your own food and drinks so that saves you some time and money. They have nice spots to sit and eat. It cost $13 per person over 13. It's a fair price sewing as they have to upkeep what they have. So overall a nice lunch and activity spot but limited animals.

Delightfully creative zoo in the heart of Texas. Wild animal collections are superb with tigers, lions, giraffes, elephants, every kind of monkey, a very strong collection of reptiles native to Texas. A very well done piece of art in the zoo world. A must see when visiting Waco. Focused on kids and learning! Parents will appreciate the amenities.

Best zoo I’ve been to! So glad I got a yearly membership pass, very affordable and provides year-round opportunities for us to have weekend fun! It’s not so big that’s it’s overwhelming, provide lots of shaded areas and indoor exhibits to cool off, a kids play area and splash pad, very clean and well-maintained. We love it!

Lovely, well organized zoo with a lot of shade. It was so hot when we went, I was afraid we wouldn't be able to enjoy ourselves. Between the shade and bomb pops purchased at the concession stand, we did great. The animal habitats are often large and spacious. The animals appear to be in good condition and have plenty to keep them occupied in the enclosures. If there is a quirk to the zoo, it's that black vultures have decided this serene, shady place is an excellent place to roost. They were in the bear enclosure and just about everywhere you looked. Still, they added to the experience. I'm looking forward to going on a crisp fall day next time.

Great zoo. Well maintained. Animals don't seem in distress. Plenty of places to sit and things for kids to play on. There's a splash pad and a playground. Very friendly staff. There's a concession stand and often vendors on the walk for snacks and drinks. Today we stopped at a vendor for floats. Plenty of rest areas. Well worth the yearly membership.
