  • We were guests of my wife's oldest son in Carlsbad/Oceanside and he took us to Iron Fist for a few beers before dinner out. What a great place, friendly people and a wide range of beers including some...  more »
  • We walked here from our hotel, which was handy. Loved the beers. Loved the vibe. Food was available the day we visited. Looking forward to returning soon.  more »
  • Several of us went as family with a dog. The dog was not bored. We tried about 15 beers. We all had our favorites. Suggest doing samplers, figuring out what you love, and then going for pints. That's ...  more »
  • Iron Fist is a great brewery that offers a wide selection of hand crafted beers. The atmosphere is warm and friendly; a perfect place for an end of day beverage. There is also usually a food truck or food vendor every day, along with an occasional musical performance by some locals. For beer connoisseurs: Iron Fist offers the best growlers in North County. Even if you are just here for a visit or vacation, I would recommend picking one up as a collectors item. They are beautifully designed, and highly durable. Worth the money. Best Times to avoid the crowd: If you can, head there a little before 4p on any weekday. You will get there before a good amount of people show up. And on a nice sunny day, I recommend snagging a couple of seats on the outside patio with the Renegade Blonde.
  • Easy to find parking but a little tricky to find if it's your first time. Wonderful Belgian style ales. Plenty of places to find a seat to enjoy your brew on the inside.
  • The crew is always friendly and the beer is top shelf. #1 in my book of must see brew houses in SD
  • Best local brew, incredible depth and maturity of their brews. My second choice is in another county.
  • I liked it so much I wrote about this Brewing Co. in my Futuristic Novel. Rush down and get the Mint Stout before they run out. Also try the Russian Imperial Stout. I must admit I like Wheaton's Woot stout a bit better, but Wheaton doesn't have a place to hang out in Vista like this one. Probably the most relaxing and dog-friendly pub I've ever been to, except for one on the outskirts of Prague. But that's another story.
