  • Among the ghost town, real or just hyped, of which are punctuated with the US, this is one of the best maintained and most interesting. It is a shame that you are in a location rather far from the large number of tourists because it truly deserves to lose some time walking among its well-preserved wooden buildings outside but, above all, inside: this is perhaps the nicest thing about Virginia City, abandoned in a hurry about 70 years ago, most of its buildings-the Museum still retain the period furniture : the stores have still the old cash register, old west-style drug stores retain the colorful candy that we saw in 1000 films, the goods on the shelves has remained the one ... for most buildings also re-enacts the story of the building of simple bulletin boards and its occupants, calandoti just in the history of this that, not even a century ago It was still the capital of Montana. Really fascinating, no doubt about it.
