  • It was an interesting museum. It's definitely worth the time and money to visit while in Virginia City.  more »
  • Very organized Museum, depicts a gold rush in the region. With fashion dolls dressed in the old West, documents, weapons, tools for mining, all original. It is truly an amazing experience. The input is compatible and fun is guaranteed. A film about the exploitation of the mine and the town. Can photograph the will.

  • This is a large museum, with a lot of historical artifacts in relation to life in Virginia City during the Gold Rush. We spent a good hour looking at all of the displays, and watching a short film.  more »

  • When in the area, do not miss this attraction. Lots of history and great presentation. Great staff! Loved the ladies behind the reception counter.
  • We loved the self tour of the museum. So many artifacts and old items to see and read about, there's even a film to watch. I loved it
  • Alot to look at...A LOT! Felt a bit cluttered and no public rest room. But for $3....it was worth it.
  • I liked it
  • Not worth the $3...Just a huge collection of memorabilia, hardly a "museum"
