  • The lady was nice and helpful but the museum wasn't worth $5. It is a basement room with old printing equipment but not much about Mark twain other that paintings.  more »

  • We stopped by here during our visit to Virginia City. To access the museum you enter a gift shop, fork over your ducats, (believe it was $6) and are let past a chain to go downstairs in the large one ...  more »

  • Hard to believe that Twain's old desk during his stint in Virginia City is in the basement of a dark and dank old building....but I guess it's true. Why isn't this in the Smithsonian? Hey 5 bucks and you can see it plus some other things Twain touched. Now that is a bargain!
