  • As a maritime professional this is a fun place to visit. It's an amazing slice of US Coast Guard history showing how things were and the equipment in use years ago. Since its on the boardwalk there's ...  more »
  • A quaint piece of history on the boardwalk. Part store part museum. A lot of information about the lifesaving stations along to coast. The little tour is worth the few dollars it costs.  more »
  • Not much to see, but it is on the boardwalk, so you may as well do it while you're there! It was not our thing.  more »

  • Great place to visit. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Interesting place to learn about how boat rescues happened and the history about the area.
  • Very rude staff of women. An older gentleman took us on a tour and he was knowledgeable and friendly however the old women and one slightly younger women who contributed no knowledge but much unprofessionalism. They need more actual veterans or intelligent people who know and appreciated this place.
  • A detailed history of a bygone era. If you're a history buff and was previously in or is in the US Coast Guard this is a cool place to visit. Memorabilia and photos from a time when the USCG was The Lifesaving Service. The building itself reminds me of my old station in NC: Oregon Inlet.. (the old one under the dunes...south of the bridge.)
  • Nice place, but you ought to pay 4 bucks for each person!
  • highly receommended
