  • I love to walk and this is the place I love to go to the most when I can walk, weather permitting, while pushing my daughter in her stroller. And of course love going when they hold events. It's a pop...  more »
  • Mt. Trashmore has grown up over the years. Now it's a great place to go to exercise, not just to bring the kids. Climb the hills, walk around the lake, have fun!  more »
  • Yes, it is a former garbage dump for the city of Virginia Beach (the new one, Trashmore II, dwarf this one). It has a like, pick-nick tables, and a large city seal on one side. It is an interesting no...  more »

  • Love this place!. You can run around a paved path. You can run hills. There's a kid park large enough for all ages. It gets crowded on nice days. On sunny days, there is little to no shade.
  • Mount Trashmore (or Trash Mountain, as our friends have nicknamed it) is such an amazing park in this community. From the playgrounds, walking paths, fitness areas, kite flying hill and stairs, this is a wonderful place to go for some healthy outdoor fun. If you have kids, it truly has options for all ages for kids to get out their energy and enjoy themselves. My only critique would be wishing that the material under the swings in the "cove" playground could be repaired, but otherwise we really love this park.
  • Great park to spend time outside running/walking etc. Needs more covered areas to sit on backside of trails. Also better draining of water on trail after rain fall. Excellent otherwise.
  • My favorite park in Virginia Beach. A long walk path. Hill and stairs - good for exercise. Huge play area for children on both sides of the hill. Clean restroom and dozens of of picnic shades and benches. Along the trail are exercise benches with instructions on boards. Parking can be challenging during important days.
  • Super cool and clean outdoor park. I came here for the first time in about a year and it was beautiful. The environment is exceptionally clean. There are a few different paths to walk/jog on and little workout stations throughout the paths, even a few stations for elderly and handicapped. They also redid the Kids Cove playground with rubber grounds so that they are safer. Oh yeah and there's a skatepark.
