  • For those staying at the Hope Lake Lodge, this is a convenient in-door water park on the second floor of the hotel. There is a wave pool, slides for toddlers and slides for those 4 feet and above. The...  read more »
  • My family and I went to Cascades indoor water park today and left VERY disappointed! We drove for about an hour and a half to take our kids for a relaxing day. When we arrived the price given to us ov...  read more »
  • Cascades is a fun waterpark. My kids are younger and had a great time riding the slides (there are 4 - 2 for younger kids, a green tube body slide and an orange tube raft slide). They loved floating i...  read more »
  • Went there last Month. I just went to check in just to see how was the water park. It was quite small. Not too many rides. A dump bucket, some slides and a pool that's about it and when i asked the guy about the prices it was hefty 42$ that gave me a huge shock. 42$ for such a small indoor park is alottttt of money. Also the staff didn't seem so friendly.
  • I struggle with rating this park. My kids enjoyed it, and had a ton of fun, but then again they've never met a waterpark they didnt like! Overall, its hard for me to justify the cost. It's a lot smaller then you would expect, although, that way it's easy to keep an eye on the kids. As an adult theres a few things that really bother me: first the park is in desperate need of some TLC. We went for the first time 3 years ago and there are parts of the water park that were broken then that are still broken today. Most of the lockers are out of order, with a lot of them having a laminated typed note on it, not just a post-it, so you know they've been broken for a while. Things like that always make me nervous. If they dont take time to fix the things you CAN see, you KNOW they don't fix the things you can't see. Like, are they inspecting the structural integrity of the slides and the water quality??? Uck... Its probably better not to think about that. There was little attempt at making sure people were following the posted rules. For example, their rules state kids under 16 are not allowed in the hot tub, yet employees were allowing kids in. Also they have height restrictions on the slides but much smaller kids were allowed on the big slides and bigger kid's allowed on the smaller slides. I'm not a huge stitckler, it just seems as though the employees just doesnt care. They were also closing sections because they were short staffed, but they weren't very smart about it, based on usage vs time. So all in all, would I go again? Probably, but it will take another 3 years of the kids begging to get me there. ☺
  • Had to drive to Cortland to make a reservation, called 4 times over 2 weeks with no response. Was told they open at 10 am on Fridays, didn't open till 4 pm. Swimsuit dryer ate the hem of my husband's new swim trunks. Was not worth even the Groupon price I paid. Looks beautiful but customer care is lacking.
  • Mostly great. We played with our 2 and 3 year olds there for around 5 hours which is quite long for them. Biggest downside is cost. Even with a Groupon that cut the prices about in half, it still wasn't cheap. There were also a number of water fountains/toys in the children's area that didn't work. Also, more disturbingly several locations with rusty metal. But overall, there is a good number of varied pools including a wave pool and children's areas, slides, etc and it was a lot of fun!
  • Great place to bring the kids usually a Groupon out there for 5o% off. So take advantage of that when you can. Make sure you bring towels and change of clothes.
