  • Enjoyed a visit there Fred was a great host. Great for families and history buffs. They even have a Bed & Breakfast place to enjoy a longer stay.
  • A hands-on experience you just don't get with most museums. Fred's stories and humor make it worth the trip. The grounds are an actual battlefield. Bring a metal detector and spend the day.
  • Very comprehensive collection. Fred is very knowledgeable and lets you handle stuff
  • Definitely one of the best museums I've ever been to. This place is perfect for people who are tired of red ropes and please do not touch signs. Fred lets you handle just about anything and will do a one on one tour with you that is better than any history book.
  • Amazing experience! Fred, the owner, was so knowledgeable and you can tell that he REALLY enjoys his collection and history. In this museum, you can actually tough and play with things. Where can you find that kind of hands on museum?? He also has a gift shop and a large property, right near the creek, where the battle took place. You can go for a hike, and get lost in the beauty! He also runs a bed&breakfast on the property, which is also very awesome! Highly recommend it!!
