  • We grew up on Red Skelton's hilarious humor, so it was like seeing an old friend at this gorgeous museum in his hometown. His birthplace is marked right across the parking lot from the museum as well,...  more »
  • This museum has lots of videos of Red's skits as he played many characters (Clm Kadiddlehopper, Freddie the Freloader, Cauliflower McPugg, Sheriff Deadeye, and more)
  • What fun to spend some time with Red Skelton, the best mid century comedian in my mind. The museum is interactive and multi media. I really enjoyed the 1940's radio that broadcasts Red's programs. Lot...  more »

  • I am a distant cousin of Red Skelton (via my 2nd great grandmother, Betsy Jane Skelton) so my sister and I took special delight in visiting the museum. It was a wonderful trip and I would go back again in a heartbeat!
  • It was a really neat museum. My family and I learned a lot about Red Skelton's life and it had some neat interactive stations.
  • Very good directions to get there. My husband said i was in for a disappointment, however we both were enthused and impressed. The desk receptionist was very helpful and friendly. If you're ever in the Vincennes, IN area - do stop in. Its worth it and the price is right; what a wonderful way to spend a couple of hours with a lot of laughs from the past.
