We loved this museum!! So much history of Route 66 packed into this one place!! The curator was also very knowledgable and truly enjoyed what he did for the museum and the people that came through!!
Kostenloser Eintritt, viele interessante Fakten aus einer alten Ära. I must confess that I was not in clear despite my origins from California, that is route 66 in California. Now... Northern California is almost another State in comparison. So it is perhaps not surprising. Well, anyway the historic route 66 is no longer listed under this name. Louder historical plaque to remind at least. In this small museum, you can schwälgen in nostalgia and look at memorabilia from the golden era of route 66 and sometimes touching. The obsession with regard of the U.S. Highway does not exist in the local consciousness. Europeans are much more interested in what ultimately is to film and media. In the hot, dry Victorville, the small museum is a nice, air-conditioned break in the desert wasteland. The volunteers on the ground are very hospitable and very to entertain with a look forward. Bill can German very well and excited to fill many details very much in favour with life. If you need a break along the way between LA and Las Vegas Victorville is a good opportunity for a rest stop. In this case, is worth the visit to the Museum.show original

I know the hours can be a little bothersome, especially when traveling Route 66; however, this place is full of so much history and photo ops. Bob and Lu were the two volunteers we interacted with the most and we SUPERLY enjoyed their company, stories, wealth of information, and smiles. Highly recommended stop both for adults families. Glad we decided to stop here on the way out of town after arriving during closed hours the week prior. Take a photo with the giant Hula girl or in the VW bus. Phenomenal seriously.
This place is a precious hidden gem!! The folks that run it are sweet and very informative..
A great museum with lots of memorabilia (even a model T). The docents are very friendly and knowledgeable about local history.
Great free spot. Free tour. Friendly staff. Iconic place
This place deserves more than 5 stars! Another excellent Route 66 icon keeping the Mother Road alive. This place is full of great photos, literature, props, ect. The staff is very knowledgeable. We are from Arizona and passionate about our stretch and these folks are the same way with California! Highly recommended by a family of true "Roadies"
