Biedenharn Coca-Cola Museum, Vicksburg

(2.5/5 based on 260+ reviews on the web)
The Biedenharn Coca-Cola Museum was a collaborative effort between the Vicksburg Foundation for Historic Preservation, and the Biedenharn family, the original bottlers of Coca-Cola.

The museum houses a wide variety of exhibits interpreting the beginnings of Coca-Cola, the history of the Biedenharn family, the process used to first bottle Coca-Cola, a reproduction of the equipment first used to bottle Coke, the history of Coca-Cola advertising, and Coca-Cola memorabilia from past to present.

The authentically-restored candy store and office area feature furnishings and displays of the 1890s and offers ice cream, fountain Cokes, Coke floats and a wide selection of Coca-Cola souvenirs.

The Biedenharn Coca-Cola Museum is owned and operated by the Vicksburg Foundation for Historic Preservation, and is one of the Foundation's key success stories in preserving Vicksburg’s unique historical and architectural heritage

  • We stoped here because we had about 30 minutes before our next stop. The place is small but has some interesting elements. If you are huge fan of Coke products this a definite stop.  more »
  • Coca Cola through the ages, the Museum is set up like an old store with a soda fountain, in the back yard is one of the original soda fountains. Lots of examples of Coke bottles though the ages.  more »

  • Nicely done. Information about the first bottleing of Coca-Cola in Vicksburg and about Coca Cola as beverage. This museum is way better than the Coca-Cola marketing show in Atlanta. More facts, more time to read. Strongly recommend it because I was to both. Sure you cannot taste coke but you also do not fight was selfie takers and rude people pushing you around. For the museum owner: Kick it up a notch especially your fountain and bottle display.
  • Try the praline ice cream it's the best!! We had ALL flavors. Lol. Had the sugar coke too.
  • cute. if your expecting a huge huge deal, this not the place. 3.50 to get inside and 15 min walk thru. lots of info, but not someplace I would have driven hrs to see.
  • Very interesting and informative place. Friendly staff
  • My wife loved coca cola so you know we had to stop here. So glad we did!
