  • It's a lovely Antebellum house that doubles as a B&B, so don't be surprised to find tourists peeking into your roped off room before you take possession. The location is great with the old Courthouse ...  read more »
  • We thought more find a type B & B; rather, we had the impression of being at the hotel with this rating. We give you the keys and the room numbers. Breakfast plentiful, well prepared and served at the table can make somewhat bad uncomfortable given the context of Louisiana and its history.

  • Personal and private, the ideal B&B. We went during our honeymoon and couldn't have been happier. Excellent breakfast, tea hour offered every morning and afternoon, and historic home tour included in ...  read more »
  • Really neat historic Victorian style house. I love history and thrive on it and there's alot here and also has a bed and breakfast. Jefferson Davis also lived in this house for a period of time. Really cozy and laid back place, and the people there were very nice and informative on info on the house, vicksburg ,and civil war.
  • Rooms and grounds in really nice shape. They take good care of the facility. Food has lost a bit over last visit. Still think it's likely your best option in the city overall.
  • A little more frayed around the edges since our visit two years ago. Very uncomfortable mattress. But lovely historic building and extremely kind staff.
  • We stayed in the rear "slave quarters" of the house, and it was such a lovely stay. All details were attended to-- from ice prepped in the fridge, to the air turned down, and chocolates for the pillows. And did I mention full-sized coffee pot with real cream!? Staff was helpful and kind; and the tour of the house was informative and brief. The house is centrally located to downtown Vicksburg and its historic districts. Also, don't forget your swimsuits-- the pool is as drool-worthy as the Sunday Brunch!
  • Went there for a wedding rehearsal dinner and the service was great!
