  • This is a great activity with kids. There is lots to see and do here. Be sure to walk the gardens after finishing inside. It can get boring if you have been here a lot.  more »

  • Well organized museum for all ages with colorful life size recreations of dinosaurs. Video and Hands on displays explaining the process of digging for and identifying bones. Big wall mural showing a timeline of the rock formations within geological eras. Can spend 2-4 hours here.
  • We enjoyed pretty much every aspect of our stay in Vernal, where we made the rounds throughout Dinosaur National Monument. The Field House rounded off our trip. My family and I enjoyed it. It has a good amount of local fossils on display (the Stegosaurus fossils were amazing).
  • Loved this place with our 2 young children. They even had a nice children's area where we say for a while and just let the kids play. My 3 year old LOVED the outdoor dinosaur garden.
  • Great place to take the kids. Lots of interactive displays. All the dino enthusiasts in the family loved it.
  • Great exhibits geared to kids and adults alike. Lots of hands on activities for the kids. Interesting to see the work of local paleontologists.
