  • My 8-year-old and I took a train for 9 hours followed by a 5 hour car ride to get to Woodford State Park in Vermont. It was worth every bit of the trip. Given the season and the presence of a lake, I ...  more »

  • Very nice, cozy little state park with campsites and beach areas! It has campers beach area and a day use area, where you can rent canoes, kayaks, paddle boards...by the hour or half/full day. Campsites were comfortable with near flat areas for sleeping. Was a rainy morning the first day but cleared up later for an enjoyable afternoon by the beach. Just couldn't find the playground(with swings) area as marked in their map.
  • Me n my friends expected this would be one of the highlights. We were very excited about the park and we reserved for two nights. But it was a new experience for us the place was the worst!! you have to be quite all the time u can't play music you can't play sports even You can talk to ur normal voice.they have quite time 10-7 where u can't make any kind of sound and whn quite time is over you still have be very quite Like Come On!!ppl wanna do campaign wanna have fun but trust me guys don't go as a group it's a disaster. And the guy name JHON I won't forget his name he was very rude and disrespectfull.one night was enough there we could not go for another night thn we moved to Molly State park which is very good park and it's kept us alive.
  • Great park, lean-to's are amazing. Staff is friendly, pond and kayaking is also great!
  • Great state park. Nice for water sports and camping. Small trail about 1.6 around the lake. Good facility of washroom and hot shower(ยข50 for 5min), don't expect very posh washroom but it's good enough to get work done ๐Ÿ˜€. Ranger staff was very friendly.
  • We only spent one night, but this is a beautiful place to camp. We're planning on coming back soon!
