  • This museum shows the history of Lake Champlain during the revolutionary war period along with many boats that sailed on the lake.

  • Amazing experience all around. So much more to offer than meets the eye. What don't they offer? Blacksmithing, glass blowing, summer camps, ROV tours, long boating, etc. Would highly recommend a visit to anyone in the area. There is a even a pirate festival for kids! A historic treasure that is totally UNDERrated!!
  • This institution far outstripped my expectations. Wonderful displays covering the history of Lake Champlain and maritime technologies going back to its first inhabitants. Friendly staff and volunteers. Plan to make a day of it. The entry fee will grant you a 20% discount to the Red Mill Restaurant, an easy walk from there, so no need to pack a lunch.
  • Yay fun
  • The Submarine, Lake Champlain Explorer, resides there. It was the First Submarine to cruise beneath the waves of Lake Champlain. The Museum calls it: The Yellow Sub.
  • One could literally spend all day here. A National treasure in my opinion. Historic replica boats w/ crew that you get to go on are just part of the gems hidden here.
