  • This flea market is open Friday thru Sunday, the best time to visit is Saturday or Sunday all the booths are open on the weekends. There is a man selling fresh seafood. There is something for everyone...  more »

  • Typical flea market. Lots of stalls, areas like thrift shops. Big golfing items area. Used books. Didn't find anything that caught my eye, but a place to check out.  more »

  • It doesn't have nearly as much stuff as it looks like it would have. However, it is still a nice place to visit every once in a while.
  • The previous review was by Chris King the President. Kind of bias and the the place just is empty and if he knew what he was doing in retail or Venice it would be not be empty or over charge on rates to trick or take advantage of people who do not know better. The worst, empty booths, rotten produce,no fun or typical flea market items, very odd. Maybe they want to go out of business to build condos because some one gave up at this place. My guess is the few good reviews are from vendors who deserve better. Hit the Red Bard or Sun Dome in PC. Dont waste the gas or time. Turn off the lights, the party is over.
  • Lots of interesting stuff to look at. Was surprised at how many cheap imports there were now. When I went it wasn't super busy. I remember the Dome being full and packed as a kid.
  • The Dome was the first Flea Market to open in Sarasota, (March 1974) and also the first Farmers Market and great Tourist stop. Some of the comments that have been made on this review are not accurate and probably some form of small minded competition. Anyway, the front or original Dome building is not Air Conditioned, although if you walk thru to the back three buildings are A/C and full of local vendors, this is traditional Flea Marketing Nation wide, don't expect Dillards or Saks, although Cool stuff that you may find to be a great bargain, and very nice people. The neat thing about this Dome is you never know what unique and memorable fun you can have exploring it. I know, I've been visiting since 1975 and its always been Free
  • Not much here. If you want a really nice flea market (and big) go to the Red Barn in Bradenton.
