  • There are two gates to make sure your pet does not slip out. There are watering stations and dog rinse stations. A great place to go if you enjoy taking your dog to the beach.  more »
  • Awesome to have great pet beach access in such a prime location. Parking is somewhat limited on busy days, but access is very easy. Most owners and dogs are very friendly and well socialized. Note dog...  more »
  • Wow! Doggie paradise on beach. A one of a kind. Only issue us the non beach sector is too small. Heaven on earth for digs and their Hunan partners.  more »

  • Fenced area for both large dogs and small dogs. There are hoses in here for rinsing off dogs. You have to walk through the large dog park to get to the beach area whicheck was a downside for us. The beach area is nice and pretty large and the water is nice and swimmable for humans too. The sand is less than part but we really enjoyed this park! We even walked where the alligator habitat (pond) is - really peaceful.
  • Gorgeous park, an amazing way to enjoy the beach with your pup with no worries. The dog park and the stretch of beach were just very nice, thoughtfully laid out and scenic. My only complaint being what it usually is about dog parks is that there are some badly behaved unattended dogs where the owner either does not care or can not keep up with their dog and the dogs harass people and other dogs. For example a very very large dog was harassing a chihuahua and the chihuahua's owner picked up her dog to get her away, but the dog actually jumped on the woman and attempted to nip the smaller dog. There was no owner to be found to restrain the large one from jumping on her and I had to touch a strangers dog to keep the lady from getting knocked over and she could get away. And of course other examples but that one was very alarming. Please train and supervise your dog at the park.
  • After walking through the dog park, I got to an amazing, clean, friendly beach! People brought their kids, dogs, and it was such a relaxing environment. The slope into the water is pretty gradual so that dogs feel comfortable walking on in. I appreciated the double gated entries and exits into the dog park. You can rest assured that your dog won't be able to run into the road if they take off ahead of you down the board walk, since the dog park is between the beach and the road. In the park there was also a place to hose off your dogs. All in all, this is an amazing beach. I will be back!
  • This place and shark use is the only place that I found that allows dogs i'm sure others allow them but are set up for it This place in sharkys both offer an awesome dog park they're not far each other you can bring your family fishing swimming at awesome definitely worth a stop
  • Not as long as Fort Desoto but a deeper beach that is not very. Yay. We went mid day on a Sat 85 degrees. Dog park entry way is awesome. Close enough to walk to Sharky's. This beach is what I call " The Business".
