  • This light house is not at all remote. Easy to get through from town. Lots of driftwood. We just went this week and being winter, it was blowing and cold. This was a nice thing. Just be prepared and b...  more »
  • Another short stop in Vashon on our day outing which included a ferry ride and a stop at the Vashon bicycle tree. It has a great view across the water but can be pretty cold on cooler rainy days. It's...  more »
  • I've lived on Vashon for 3 years now and this by far my dog's favorite place to walk. It can be a busy, touristed park, but it's big enough with lots of beach that we can have a good off leash walk. T...  more »
  • Pretty lighthouse. You can walk along the driftwood. Dirt trail to get down, or a paved street if you have a stroller.
  • Worth the drive and hike down the hill. A very Northwest experience. Perfect for a stroll on the beach or for the photo junkie. Needs more picnic tables and real restrooms instead of dirty parking lot port a potties.
  • The walk to the light house is beautiful and the views of the city are spectacular. You can't actually get very close to the lighthouse, but it's well worth the hike.
  • Out of the way, very quiet park. Enjoyed seeing the Vashon lighthouse and taking photos. Different perspective of Puget Sound than we're used to. Beach would be nice for kids, lots of run and play area.
  • This is a fun quiet little hidden treasure on Vashon Island. For those Seattleites who dare to Venture off the beaten path, this is a gem and fun to explore. You can easily spend a few hours walking up and down the beach on great days with a fantastic view of Mount Rainier in the background, nice Sea Breeze and waves, you should go there soon.
