  • The city of Vancouver did a fabulous job designing this facility. Aimed mainly at children the exhibits are still cool. The best thing was the aquarium with small sturgeon, the tank supposedly had coh...  more »

  • great place to visit and take the kids to learn more about keeping our water clean. fun exhibits.
  • Great gardens and educational display, thanks for letting the basket weavers gather Reed😍
  • Great place to spend a rainy day with the kids. Interesting exhibits and interactive learning tools plus Sturgeon and amphibians all at no cost. Summer programs are just the kind of thing ecology minded parents love.
  • With a few aquariums (fish and reptiles) as well as some interesting science exhibits, the water resource center is worth a 30 minute visit.
  • Lots of fun! It's free! I went on an impromptu outing here with my husband, and we enjoyed learning about Vanport and seeing the animals of the watershed (yes, that's right! There's terrariums with frogs and a lovely window to lots of birds). It's a hidden gem; you're likely to be the only visitor. That said, this is most certainly intended for field trips. Adjust your expectations accordingly, but give it a shot.
