  • We happened to stop by July 11. The menu was very limited. My wife’s fork was very dirty and mine was not real clean. There was no table cloth on an old table that had sticky spots on it. My...  more »

  • The service was perfect! The food was delicious! We had reservations for four and had a evening meal. The atmosphere was pleasant and enjoyable. After dinner we had desert and coffee on the front porch. They let us take our time and really unwind. The view was lovely and music played in the background. I highly recommend this place. We will visit again.
  • Great service and super clean historical ambience of a place. The menu has a variety and served fast. They can offer a venue for large private gathering. They welcome everyone. Give them the chance to wow you.
  • I love eating at the Grant House. The atmosphere is comfortable yet classy. The food is delicious. The prices are comparable. There is lovely outdoor seating. It reminds me of the Grand Ave area in St Paul.
  • Biscuits!!!! So yummy! I've been back multiple times now including for my birthday. Try the Chicken Fried steak served on a biscuit with an egg and sausage gravy..... in a skillet on a wood board! Just try to have leftovers. The biscuits are real and made in house.....like biscuits should be. Also, the steak and eggs with potatoes. Yum! And it comes with a biscuit! Each time, I've gone for the weekend brunch. This is an historical house and they let you walk around, even upstairs. You can look for the ghost or see where an officer's wife defied the "no decorating the walls" rule by painting a medallion on the ceiling. So interesting to read about how the house was used. They even have lap blankets for you if you sit on the porch and it is a bit cold! Every time I've gone, everyone was gracious and generous! I'm looking forward to more drives to Vancouver to eat here!
  • Beautiful and quiet late day. Each plate and drink were spot on for spur of the moment porch dining. Two small happy hour plates would work well for a couple... it was only me so left 2 bites 🙂 Prices are comparable to other bistro atmospheres. Absolutely love the history and structure. Added attraction... the most beautiful lace cap hydrangea I've ever seen.
