  • Yesterday was the first day I have ever skied Sipapu. Short lines and great snow. Groomed and un-groomed. The workers were so nice and it was a fantastic day.
  • Talk about being disconnected from the world! This place had no phone, no TV, no internet, I was surprised they had electricity. Our cabin had a little kitchenette with a stove, mini-fridge, microwave...  more »
  • I see why at first glance someone might recommend this ski area for beginners, but there are many places with better opportunities for practice. The practice hill is so small and so gentle that you ca...  more »

  • I've only been here during late spring and mid autumn, so this isn't about the skiing. During May/June two years ago, this place was nice. A good place to camp. When I reserves a room for 1 night while traveling through the area (Nov 5), they failed to tell me everything was under construction, and no amenities were available. Still charged me full price. At least I had a room for a night, but that was it. I'm sure it's better during the ski season, but they could have told me nothing was available when I made the reservation.
  • Stayed in the Adobe House during the summer. It was not the best maintained. One of two showers didn't work well and the other one had hot/cold swapped (sink also). No lock on either bathroom door, which luckily didn't result in an embarrassing mistake for us, but could have. Bring your own shampoo and facial tissue. Also BYO sharp knives, salt, pepper, milk, etc. Their little store didn't have much in the way of supplies we forgot. Download the disc golf map rather than pay them $2 for a copy. That was the only activity offered by Sipapu. I went hiking on one of the many nearby forest trails.
  • Sipa was an experience. To be able to get away and enjoy the scenery was great! There was a lady in the store named Josie who was just outstanding in customer service. When I do go back it will be because of her and her great attitude. She was very helpful and informative.
  • Stayed one night in the bunk room. Very nice and roomy. A little pricey but great area. And they have the best home-made fudge. Attendants could have been a little friendlier.
  • My favorite l. I taught my kids how to ski here, and this is where I got married.
