  • If you can, do the whole hike, you won't regret it. The panoramic view at the end is spectacular. I felt like I was in a painting. The light from the sun setting hitting the rock walls was so cool. Yo...  more »
  • We had some time while in Moab after a day of hiking in Canyonlands and decided to explore up the Colorado River.
  • The Fisher towers can be reached from the highway 128 (Colorado River Road) in Moab on a short 3.7 km long dirt road, is usually good to cross that. The view on the towers in the evening sun is huge, since the towers in bright red light up when the sun goes down. That is reason enough to come here! Even more impressive is the hike to the Fisher towers around. The trail is well marked, but pretty much up and down. It runs down around the King Fisher and passes on the ancient art (here you can watch sometimes climbers, which actually here rise high!). Continue to the Cottontail tower over and finally to the largest Tower, the Titan. The whole hike is 6 km long good, one has to climb a total of about 200 metres and you should allow 5 hours with photo stops. You can get enough see themselves on the formations!
