  • The staff was exceptional, grounds we're superbly maintained--and lots of fun--our cabin (#3) was really spacious and very clean. Food at restaurant was first class (ribeye). Kayaking was so much fun!
  • Spent our Honeymoon here kayaking, exploring the Olympics and eating excellent food at the resort and great mexican food at 2 Margaritas in Union. The staff is very easy going and super friendly! can't wait to go back this summer and for years to come.
  • Rude staff, gross food that made me sick. Asked the waitress for a salad without the onions and dressing and she acted like it was both out of line and too complicated to make that way. Messed up our orders and really haven't ever been here that I liked the food or had good service. After a few attempts, I give up. Won't be going back after I puked all the way home last time.
  • We love this place. Great way to get away from the city. They offer a wide range of FREE activities which is always nice.
  • We stayed in Cabin 11, up at the rear of the resort. The cabin was clean and warm, if small--there's only room for two adults in this cabin, perhaps a young child as well, if you're willing to have them share your bed. No closet space to speak of, just a coat rack and a few drawers, so we ended up living out of our suitcases. The kitchen is sufficient, but the shower was pretty terrible--one of those old water-saving varieties where you barely get wet. The hot tub is semi-private: you have to go round to the side from the front door of the cabin, so bathrobes are highly recommended (we didn't bring them, so I did several dashes back into the cabin clad only in a towel). Once you're in the tub, you're mostly secluded from view. The grounds are very pleasant, and I'm sure they're wonderful in good weather, but we were there in mid-winter, so couldn't make much use of them. Also, we were looking forward to meeting the goats, but they weren't around. All in all, recommended.
