  • Weather was perfect. Rose's were in bloom. Still bit early for irises etc. It will be spectacular in a week or so! There is a beehive you can look inside. People were painting and taking photos of their children etc. Many areas to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. Great family outing.
  • Beautiful place to go and see all the roses if you're in the area. There are dozens of different types of roses and it was perfect to walk through on an overcast day. Some of the roses were not doing particularly well, but it has been a brutally hot summer this year so that's not surprising. They have a honey bee observation hive which is pretty cool as you can open it up and see all the bees. Definitely a neat place to visit and it's free to walk through the outdoor rose garden.
  • Great place! Visited it in late May, the roses mostly stopped blooming, but the botanical garden was full of flowers of all kinds. Beautiful landscaping, lots of shade with benches and picnic tables under tall trees, interpretive signage throughout the garden. Very educational and enjoyable at the same time! Free admission. Small museum within the visitor center has fee.
  • One of the best gardens I have ever been to. I think i went in the off season but it is still maintained properly. I have attached all the pictures. I should be back during the rose flower season
  • This garden was impressive. The only thing that was a bit of a bummer was that the roses are out of season so in regard to seeing roses, there were only trimmed bushes. However there are many other plants along the walk ways and the fountains and ponds are quite peaceful.
