As you approach the museum from South Peoria looking across the manicured sweeping grounds, you can imagine this setting in the roaring 20's, with two successful Tulsans building mansions side by side, one to become the Tulsa Historical Society, and the other the Tulsa Garden Center. Constantly changing exhibits give a visitor an in-depth look at Tulsa's history, from oil exploration to rock stars. Easy parking and its serene setting make it an easy rich experience for older visitors who feel put off by the hustle and bustle of some museums. A true Tulsa treasure!
We all need to know what was. This a a real taste of it. Kids had a great time.
Very nice museum! Lots of great exhibits. I learned so much! I'd highly recommend making a visit here. Especially visit the gardens and walk around outside. It's so gorgeous.
Quite a lovely place. I intend to go back and peruse the archives. Lots of local history. Very nice. A lot of fun for the family. I can't wait to see the gardens in bloom.
Beautiful place year round. Lots of neat history about the city.
