We went to see ORU as we were in Tulsa and it was worth it. Its a Christian University campus and amazing to see how one man had a dream and built it.  more »

Yes, this is a university campus, and there are several unique structures, which deserve a close exploration. What is of value is the stories that are part of this place. Visit the Prayer Tower. You w...  more »

Phenomenal place! Amazingly friendly people and cutting-edge facilities. The architecture is very unusual, and probably has a story that explains every building (I only heard that the prayer tower is in the shape of the cross and the circular part represents the crown of thorns). The virtual reality center has multi-million dollar technology that is mind-boggling. Worth a visit even if you have no reason to visit a university (It's that cool!)

Absolutely loved my experience at this university. The professors in the Communications department are the very reason I graduated with a job already lined up. There are countless ways for students to get involved, on and off campus. The university really does teach its students to make no little plans with their lives - it's nothing short of inspiring.

Did you ever see the movie, "The Ten Commandments" by CB DeMille? If that comicbook style of design philosophy appeals to you, you'll love ORU. I prefer my architecture (and religion) a bit more on the subtle side. If your God stands on a tall peak, has a long flowing white beard, throws lightning bolts and recites the pledge of allegiance, this is your place. (Based on the reviews here, there certainly is a market for this kind of thing.)

Amazing. Everytime I come here I'm just blown away with AWESOMENESS!

ORU provided me with a great education. The professors' are awesome and want to see students succeed. If you don't understand something they are available and personally help you. All classes are taught by the professor and you don't have to be taught by a T.A.!
