  • I think this place is haunted. I realized that my 1st time coming here before I actually Googled it. It kind of adds to the experience though. It was a great refuge from the storm on the day that we went. They have amazing art projects every 3rd Sunday? I guess. Anyways they provide the art medium ample space and they deal with the set up and mess so that's a super duper plus for me. Most of the entire Museum is not very manageable for a kid with ADHD. Their security was super edgy. Don't touch anything including the walls. I didn't find a good place for him till I came back the second time without him. They have a play room that is low key that he could have handled. It was also stormy so out side wasn't an option on the day that I came.
  • One of the greatest collection of Western and Native American art and artifacts in the United States. Free Public tours at 2 o'clock everyday. This museum is Tulsa's biggest asset both in the value of the art and the experience you receive when you visit
  • Fantastic museum, such a treasure for Tulsa. Largest collection of American West and Native American art in the world. Enthusiastic docents are very knowledgeable. Beautiful grounds in summer and fall. A must visit for new and old Tulsans alike.
  • Stunning museum with wonderful exhibits. I wish we had much more time to explore it fully! Well worth a revisit.
  • We went for a free family event. They had plenty of activities that not only captured the attention of our 10 year-old but also of our twin 4 year-olds. Don't be afraid to take your children to a museum. Come to Gilcrease.
