Experience life in the Old West at Old Tucson by strolling down the streets fit for a town from 1853 to 1912. Films like "El Dorado" were shot here, as well as several episodes of the TV show "Little House on the Prairie." Living history demonstrations and saloon dancers bring the town to life, or for more of the movie aspect, take in a stunt show. Unfortunately Old Tucson has closed indefinitely and turned over to the county. It was a wonderful place for fun and learning a bit about the Old West. We will miss it dearly. more »

Fright night for old Tucson was an amazing experience, with excellent haunted houses, and decent actors, considering most are locals. Tickets to get in were reasonably priced, but once in, most of the entertainment cost extra. The maps that they provided weren't very good, and I ended up having to ask the workers where to go! The workers though, were all very nice and helpful. I will totally go again

I attend a few venues here each year. This is part old historic movie set and part theme park. As cool as the place is, there are no bargains to be had in food. A bottled soft drink is around $3.50. A candy bar, $2.75. Other hot fare will set you back around 10 bucks each. So either eat first in town as there are not other places nearby, or sneak your snacks in. If you like old westerns and their filming locations this is your place. Go nuts, this place is cool. The staff are great.

Old Tucson is a nice place to come and learn about The Old West and movies that were made here knowledgeable people dressed in costume as you make your way through the town. Saloons ,Grand theatres with Can Can girls and dance routines. The stuntmen were wonderful in explaining how everything worked with their reenactments with their Six Guns blazing and falls from 2 stories up. There's Stage Coach rides and a miniature train ride. Zip lines and many gift shops and places to eat. They are only open on weekends in the fall and winter.

Old Tucson is a great entertainment and historical venue for families. There is plenty to do for all ages, and there were a bunch of shows throughout the day. Humor was definitely part of the fun. There was plenty to spectate and learn about the Old West through the movie museum and reenactments. I would highly recommend this spot for any Tucson visitors!

Have not been to Old Tucson for about 15 years so I can not speak for that. However I went to night fall this year and I can honestly say I will not be going back. All but one show sucked, there was always people getting up and leaving during the show. You had to pay extra for the rides which a minimum of 5 dollars. They only thing that was good there was the food.
