The food and drinks menu has great options. The atmosphere is great and they have a variety of live music. My favorite is the Key Ingredients of African Soul. I try to go when ever they are there.
This small, outdoor cafe and sound stage has the feel of throwing a patio party without doing any work. They have a very nice menu and a great drink menue. Most nights there is live music and the band... read more »

We always go to see our favorites, Nick McBlaine and the Log Train (first Wed) The Tucsonics (third Tues) The Ronstadt Generations (every Sun) And, we know people always show up and get up there with the band to play a few tunes. We never know who it will be. Name any musician in Tucson and they might be there on any given night. So we keep our minds open, see who shows up, and have never been disappointed. The food is pretty good, really good hamburgers, seafood entrees, salads grande, and desserts. I'm not going to say a word about them. (I've been known to have dessert for my whole meal.) There is something on the menu for every kind of (even picky) food preference. I am especially proud of the servers. They work hard, really hard, to keep you happy. It's busy, crowded, people are hungry, and even when they're swamped and need a few more hands, they're happy to serve us and they do the very best they can. I would never complain, I can clearly see how much they want us to be happy and satisfied. They are trying, just be patient. It's always worth the wait if and when there is one. We love the place and we've made so many friends there. "We're all in this together" is an appropriate phrase at the Monterey Court. I've never encountered a sourpuss among the crowd. Now, what could be better? We'll see you there.
We had to find our own table, appetizers were served at the same time as the main course, food was mediocre at best, soup not edible, when we complaint to the owner, his response was that he thought the soup was quite nice, the soup was broke and had no flavor or texture. Crostini's can't be made to order.. the texture of the crostini was like something the ducks at the pond might refuse... and the sweet potato fries were cold.. Tucson has so many fun restaurants with excellent food.. this is my last night of my vacation and what made this whole experience really disturbing was the absolutely arrogant demeanor of the owner..
Nice outside setting, the food is great, and the Happy Hour Specials make it worth the drive. Very surprising menu for a small venue. Definately one of Tucson's hidden jewels.
The Coolers are so good. Food and drink excellent. Fun night on the fly.
Great Atmosphere! Great Happy Hour Specials! Nothing other than cold beer here!
