  • DeGrazia used to be one of my favorite places to go, both solo and when folks from out of town were visiting. In the spirit of Ted De Grazia, it was open to all and we could browse the grounds and his...  more »
  • This is a fascinating experience. Walk the grounds and go inside to view a video about the artist and see his work. Unusual, interesting, fun. Used to be free but expect a fee to enter now.
  • We've been stopping here for years and we were surprised they now charge $8 to get in, but as a result there was almost no one there on a weekday and it was a very relaxed self-tour.

  • When here as a child and now had the pleasure of taking my own child here to enjoy the gallery and the grounds. This museum is really a 2 part experience. First the art is great and certainly sets a southwest mood. The amount of pieces is larger than you would think looking for the outside and represents a true lifetime of work. I have some of his art in my collection and it was great to show my daughter where it came from and more about the man who made it. Second is the setting. This a a nice representation of a southwest homestead style property. The gardens are amazing in the courtyard and there is even a small chapel on the grounds where people still light candles and leave requests. As a kid I would run though the grounds that were free to access with friends and always had a blast. Coming back my daughter got to do the same thing. Defiantly worth the time to and money for a visit if you are in the area.
  • Great art. Amazing building, I still struggle with his narcissism.
  • I am happy to relate one of the most memorable experiences of my life. My name is Mary Matthews . In the summer of 1963, a friend took me to the De Grazio' Studio. When I stepped inside, all of a sudden I could not move nor speak. My friend noticed and took my hand and led me around until I regained my own senses. It was a truly mystical experience that was deepened out back going to the little Chapel Mr. De Grazia built with the Indians. They had decorated the path and inside the chapel with bright flowers and other salutes to this sacred spot. I will never forget the joy of this life changing experience.
  • I think theres a pokemon go gym here
  • Not worth the $8 admission fee. Just walk around the grounds and look at the paintings in the gift shop for a fee free experience nearly as good as wandering the museum.
