  • If you visit Tucson for an extended period of time and love to take walks, this is a great little park and is surely a big surprise after you've had your fill of typical desert in the rest of the area...  more »
  • This seems to be a very popular place for families to picnic, especially on weekends. It is also a good spot for birding and wildlife. The trail encompasses both wetland and desert habitat so gives a ...  more »
  • I visited here because my friend's son and daughter-in-law live nearby, so we came here to take a walk in late December. Though other reviews talk about bird watching, I did not see many wildlife here...  more »

  • Facilities are clean but basic. Great place for families and dog friendly. The pond is surrounded by large palm trees and full of ducks turtles and fish. A refreshing sight for someone that's been traveling through the desert. With its location being close to Saguaro National Park and the admission being free it's worth a stop. There's nothing here but the park so don't expect to come and have lunch or dinner unless you're picnicking. I wouldn't travel far out of my way to visit this site but if you're coming out of the National Park it's a good addition.
  • Nice quiet nature park. Great for birding, walking, reading, or a little picnic. No youths playing sports, no ice-cream trucks, no noisy birthday parties. Reminder that the gate closes at sunset.
  • It is by far the nicest park in Tucson. Very clean, very beautiful, and it's a great place for grilling out or walking your 🐕. It's also very kid friendly and accessible for the elderly. I really wish I can give it more than five stars!!!!!
  • There were a lot of different little paths around the area. I loved seeing all the palm trees. They had some orange trees in the picnic area, but I don't know if the fruit is edible... It was windy and cool today, but I bet this is a fantastic place to visit when the temperatures are high!
  • The grounds always kept very nice clean here. It's nice family park. Many amenities and facilities, picnic tables, grills, trash cans. A lake here that is spring feed. Plenty of fish, ducks, you occasionally see mule deer, javelin, when you walk around the trails in the western half of park. This is more natural state here. The ranch house is open to the public as a museum with pictures back in the days as a ranch. A gift shop in the building. All self tour, or you can make arrangements for a guided tour. Many posted activities on the bulliten board year round activities. There is also the old bunk house you can see. Plenty of parking available (free). Nice quiet area. I enjoy it very much, more people are here during the winter months.
