Bad Experience; Disappointing Customer Service! This lovely store has been my go to place in Tubac for many years over the Thanksgiving holiday. However, this year was a disappointment in the way my experience was handled. I had bought four Mexican pottery vegetable bowls. The store was busy and the saleswoman wrapped my bowls in not the most insulated way using newspaper. On the trip home to my in-laws the bowls crashed against each other in the bag and became a shattered mess. All but one of the bowls, (which sustained a tiny chip), were ruined. When I took shards back to the store with no intention of asking for free bowls, I did however feel the store should have taken some of the responsibility for the way they had wrapped them. This time I made sure that they wrapped each piece in bubble wrap. Had I been the store owner I would at least have taken some of the responsibility and taken a percentage off of the replacements. This is why I'm giving this store a two star rating and will never return to it again.
Best place to uncover some amazing pottery and iron work. There is no way to describe this place accurately but by saying it's a must see.
I love this place, many people don't know about Tubac. It is one of Arizona special places, a must visit..
Lots of beautiful items for sale, with a focus on Mexican and Southwest art and cultural items.
Some unique items, unreasonably high prices on most. Not as many local items as I would have thought. Most shops are only opened for the snowbirds that flock in for the winter. Mostly a tourist trap. I would recommend at least a visit.
