  • I came by this vineyard yesterday with my aunt hoping to do a tasting. We didn't realize that the shorter winter hours had started and they appeared closed. By a happy twist of fate, we ended up meeti...  more »
  • Beautiful views, and you can even bring your own picnic! The wine tasting was great. We will be returning soon.

  • Our day trip from Lake Lure to Overmountain Winery was fantastic! We experienced full tastings on the patio. Every wine was enjoyable, and they also offered a Blackberry Port, hard cider, and a house-made sangria. From the Great Dane roaming around to the ecletic decor of the tasting room, this place has tons of charm. Friendly and helpful staff made the experience wonderful!
  • Great family-owned & operated vineyard. Excellent wines! Fantastic personalized service.
  • We had a great time at the winery! They've done a great job making it a good experience with the layout, decor, and dogs. However, the wine is average. I would go here again if I wanted to hang with friends, picnic, and enjoy the day, but I would know that the wine wasn't the main draw of the place. If you wanted to have really good wine, I might pass this one up
  • Recently enjoyed a fabulous tasting and picnic despite a major downpour the entire afternoon. Met Frank and Sophia and their Great Danes and had a blast. Enjoyed the wines especially the PM, the new hard cider, and the blackberry wine.
  • Enjoyed my visit here. Sophia was great and the atmosphere reminds me of vineyards in Northern California. Highly recommended!!!
