  • This museum has a world class pottery collection, but it is at the very back of a disorganized, almost haphazard, collection. Persevere, as there are several gems mixed in with some rather lackluster ...  more »
  • Lot of artifacts and antiques - lot of stuff - there a log cabin in the back - come by, you will like what you see.

  • Diverse and informative
  • A large museum for such a small town. If you're visiting T or C or Elephant Butte -- this one is worth a visit to learn everything about the area. I most enjoyed the exhibits documenting how Hot Springs, NM became Truth or Consequences, NM.
  • A little jicky, but worth the stop.
  • A very large, lovingly compiled collection of all things wild, wild west and everything in between. History, geology, anthropology, biology, art, artifacts, and antiques. Prepare to spend at least two hours here. Friendly and helpful hosts. The arrowhead and pottery collection will blow you away!
  • Lots of interesting local history!
