  • WE love the Stage Nature Center. This year we tapped our own Maple Tree. It was a very fun family activity. I take my children (age 11 and 8) for walks through the center all the time. It is clearly m...  more »

  • My husband and I come here about once a week since we moved to the area around a year ago. The deer here are so tame! We usually see between 10 and 20 deer every time we come. For some reason, it is j...  more »
  • Beautiful piece of nature hidden so close to the city. Lovely smiling folks working at the place. Rustic trails that are open from dawn to dusk! Great place for kids to spend time and learn with all the wonderful fun activities. You can always spot deers and they stay around if you pause to look at them! Great place of nature right here in Troy! :)
  • This nature center is the best in the area. We have visited with our kids many times and they love exploring the trails - each time is a new experience. They especially love the Mastadon Dig site in the Interpretive building. This place is not just for kids though - we often see people, young and old walking the trails and taking photo's during our walks. I suppose its because the trails are easy to trek.
  • Its a great place to get in touch with nature.
  • Very nice place, clean. However crabby staff members make it less fun.
  • One of the best places to go to learn how to protect and preserve the natural world.
