So we got lucky on this place because we came on New Year's Day and they had a special going. It cost us the same to jump for 3 hours as it normally would only for an hour. That was the only motivatio... more »
I had visited Airtime Troy MI. before and was impressed with some things, but disgusted by others. Its a fun place, loved the live DJ. It was like a kids day/night club. the disgusting things (the kid... more »
Visited after a long car ride to Detroit. Bought a Groupon coupon to take the kids. Good value even at full price. Kids were nice and sweaty by the end. more »
Great time. Great place to take the kids to burn off some energy. Had a Groupon which saved some money. Not sure if you need special socks or not. We saw people not wearing any socks. But each there own. It was clean and a safe environment. Will be back.
HORRIBLE! We had shoes stolen and we noticed when we were leaving. Told the employees said they couldn't do anything about it because cameras were too "blurry" I even doubt there stupid cameras worked because they wouldn't even wanna show up the video!!! All they did was say sorry. THATS IT! No nothing!!! Talked to like 2 different managers.. just horrible!!!! Plus I drove about 35 min to get to this place to spend $40 for myself, my husband and my son. & lost about $180 from our shoes! & got NOTHINGGGGG BACCKKKKK!!!!!!!!! Employees are so careless, rude, unprofessional and just immature!!!!
Do Not, I repeat please DO NOT spend your money AirTime Trampoline - Troy. My husband and I took my son and my niece for a little family fun. Long story short my niece wanted cotton candy. After eating a couple bites she handed me the bag and I sat it on the carpeted area right next to where we were jumping. The owner, not an employee but the owner whose name is John comes by picks it up and aggressively asks me if it belongs to me. I said yes. He then says well we don't allow food up here so I said ok I'll throw it away. I assume he thought I told him to throw it away. He says to me I'm not a busboy and if I wanted to be one I would have opened a restaurant. I said well who the hell are you as he was not in any kind of uniform and had on nothing to indicate he worked there. So needless to say this encounter went left. My husband notices the guy pointing at me and walks up and hears us going back and forth and tells the guy not to disrespect me. He then tells us throw the cotton candy away and quickly walks away. We follow him down the stairs to get our things and of course our money refunded as we had only been there a good 15 minutes and as we are standing at the counter getting our money back not 1, not 2 but 3 Troy police officers walk in. We tell the officers what happened and they stated that this is not the first time he had dine this. The officers were very nice! They waited for us to get our refund and belongings. The managers that gave us our refund were very kind and apologetic as well and didn't seem shocked that the owner had treated us so poorly. We get out side to leave and one of the employees pulls us to the side with tears in her eyes and apologized and told us that hated working there because he does this all the time to black families. I felt bad for her and all of the others that have to work for this idiot. The worse part about the situation is that the kids had to encounter this and we were forced to explain to them that unfortunately this is just the world we live in. However you never, ever have to allow anyone to treat you like your nothing or don't belong! Especially when your a paying patron. Needless to say we will never spend another dime at any airtime and we have already sent an email to the BBB and won't stop until John figures out he messed with the wrong family and being that I also work in Troy I'll be sure to pass this along to the surrounding businesses how awfully we were treated.
If it were at all possible, I would give this place a zero rating! Let me first start off by saying that the owner of this location (John) is rude, has a very nasty attitude and has very poor communication skills. My wife and I took our 4 year old son and niece to have some fun. We didn't know the rules as far as food is concerned; my wife went and got me a slice of pizza, a pretzel for herself and a bag of cotton candy for the kids. We ate the items on the 2nd level in the children's jump area and NO ONE ever said to us that food wasn't allowed up there. The girl employee working the kids play area told my wife that she could not jump with the cotton candy in her hand so she handed it to me since I wasn't jumping at the time. Our niece ate some of the cotton candy and it was accidentally left in that area as we went to the other side to do some jumping. The owner (John) comes up to my Wife and asked if the bag belonged to her and she said yes. He stated that they don't allow food in the jumping areas. My wife said that she'd throw it away. He then tells my wife that if he wasn't a busboy and if he wanted to be one, he would've opened a restaurant. Of course my Wife got upset! Next thing I know, he in an aggressive manner with his finger pointed tells my wife that she can throw the cotton candy away or leave. I IMMEDIATELY came over to intervene and told him not to disrespect my wife and he walks away like the coward that he is - couldn't even look me in the face. He then goes and calls Troy Police and lies on us by telling them that we were refusing to leave!?!? My Wife went to the counter to speak with a manager about this incident and to request a refund as we'd only been there like 15-20 minutes!!!! While we were waiting for our refund which was issued, 3 Troy Police officers show up! YES, 3!!!! He must have told them were we're African-American or some other lie. The officers were nice and even they know what a jack ass this guy is as they've had to respond to incidents like this involving this owner in the past. I feel sorry for the people who have to work for this ignoramus. Unfortunately for him though, he messed with the wrong people today. I immediately began making calls and I'm not even close to done yet; He won't get away with this. Take your kids anywhere else to have a good time, PLEASE!!!! I wouldn't let the neighborhood mice in to jump around in this dump. Me or my family will never spend a dime in any of these airtime trampoline locations. Guess it's true what they say... "One rotten apple spoils the whole barrel". P.S. - John when you notice a drop in sales over the next couple months, I hope it was worth the embarrassment and frustration you put my family through today. You're rude, you're a coward and as a man, I DONT RESPECT YOU
Awesome place to go with friends. They have weird rules though, like one cannot run on the trampolines or be on the same small trampoline as someone else or do a backflip into the foam pits, which can ruin a lot of the fun. I would like to see a larger trampoline that is just for jumping, currently they only have the small ones designated to jumping. Staff is pretty cool.
