  • I took my 3 year old daughter to fill in time. The price was great at $5 each. There was enough to entertain her for about 2 hours. She really enjoyed the building option in one of the play spaces.  more »
  • At one point I would have given this museum five plus stars. They no longer run great programs during school breaks and weekends. For example, we have dissected cow hearts and made solar ovens. Now it...  more »

  • Great for the kids- maybe 7 and under crowd. Small, but 2 levels and many different rooms. Of course you have to walk through the shop to enter and leave, but distraction works.
  • Great place for kids. Lots of hands on experiences to keep kids engaged. Staff has periodic show and tell times throughout the day including the touching of live snakes!
  • Fun place for young kids. They also do birthday party's and science camp.
  • Fairly small but not too crowded. Some fun construction/building activities, giant chalk board wall, and interactive learning sessions where kids can see and touch various small animals. Our 5, 3, and 1 year-old kids all had a good time for a couple of hours and admission was free with a Boston Children's Museum membership.
  • You can't beat $5 a person while the kids run around in a big circle investigating activities.
