  • Great place to stop while driving on highway 30 and take in the view of the Columbia river. Plenty of parking and well worth it.  more »

  • This scenic viewpoint offers a great view of the Columbia River Gorge as well as picnic tables and lawn. This location offers a great view of Vista House, too. More than 400,000 people visit this site annually, and it is a popular spot to photograph the gorge and Vista House. Pack a lunch and your camera and sit back, relax, and enjoy one of the great scenic wonders of Oregon.
  • Great views, but you may want to save this for the ride back from PDX, as I find it's best to save the Vista House as your first "Oh WOW!" moment of the drive along the old Highway.
  • I was passing by and the views are great. Im going back when the weather gets better.
  • You can see the Vista house from here. In fact this is the best spot to take a picture of the Vista house with the Columbia river.
  • Great views of the Columbia River Gorge. The wind will be blowing, so when it's cold out its super cold here. For the truly lazy you can stay in the car.
